Empowering children and young people to grow, heal, and thrive.
Building Safer, Stronger Communities for Children and Young People
When children and young people are supported, families heal, schools thrive, and communities become safer and more connected.
The Safer Wales Youth Service is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people through gender-informed, compassionate guidance, education, and trauma-informed care. We help young people make safe, healthy, and informed decisions, even in the face of complex challenges such as trauma, domestic violence, child sexual exploitation, violence, and social disadvantage.
Our Impact
Our Youth Service leads to meaningful, measurable change in the lives of 10 to 25 years old children and young people and those around them.
Outcomes include:
Increased safety from domestic violence and child sexual exploitation
Reduced involvement in violence, crime, and exploitation
Better emotional regulation and mental health
Stronger family and peer relationships
Increased confidence and life satisfaction
Improved school attendance and academic progress

Young Adult Hub
Why It Matters
Young adults leaving the justice system are at a critical turning point. Without the right support, they face barriers to housing, employment, mental health care, and inclusion. The Young Adult Hub bridges that gap — providing a second chance, the right tools, and someone who believes in them.
Who We Support
Supporting young men to thrive after contact with the criminal justice system.
Young adult males (18–25) who:
Are currently involved in the criminal justice system
Have been recently released from prison
Are serving community-based sentences
Are at risk of offending or reoffending
Our Mission
At the Young Adult Hub, we’re building a better future for young adults aged 18–25 who are:
Leaving prison
Serving community-based sentences
At risk of involvement in the criminal justice system
Our aim is to support and empower young men to lead safer, more fulfilling lives through personalised support, connection, and opportunity.
